In ChatGPT Work on the web, upload the setup prompt once and ask it to set up the workflow. It checks whether your account can watch your business inbox, save your rules, and send replies automatically. Uploading the file alone does not turn it on.

One-time setup

Approve your replies, then test them.

1. Connect the business inbox and sender.
2. Approve a new-inquiry reply and answers to common questions, such as hours and service area.
3. Choose when replies can send and when a person should take over.
4. Check that one test email gets one reply and replies stop when they should.
5. Turn it on only after your account passes the test.

What it can answer

Start with a reply to a new inquiry and facts you approve, such as your hours and service area. When the workflow is connected and active, it sends one reply to an eligible customer email and brings unfamiliar questions to you. A new customer reply can stop an old estimate reminder while still getting an answer to its own question.

Text, voicemail, bookings, discounts, and open-ended service advice need additional verified connections and rules. They are not included in this first free email setup.
